The Hop Poles and The Eagle

The Hop Poles and its sister pub The Eagle provide gastro-pub meals at normal pub prices. Both get crowded, especially at weekends as they are such good cheap Brighton places to go. They are both favourites of locals and students. Out of the two of them I would recommend the Hop Poles as it has more atmosphere, but its a close call!

The Hop Poles is on middle street and The Eagle is on Gloucester Road.
